Professional Background
Previously Devon worked as a Senior Consultant for the NeuroLeadership Institute. He focused on leadership and performance management by applying brain science to support a wide array of businesses to meet their human capital needs.
Devon worked for over five years as a Principal Consultant for Linkage, providing strategic consulting on organization and leadership development, and talent management through consulting services, workshops, tailored assessment, and executive coaching. In this role, Devon used his passion for truly understanding client needs to design customized solutions and to partner with sales teams to develop new, and expand on, existing business.
Prior to Linkage, Devon was the VP of Leadership Development for eight years at FCC Services, an organization effectiveness consulting firm, where he lead the leadership development practice area and built the executive coaching practice. He doubled revenue and program offerings in the first five years.
Devon has served as a faculty member at the University of Denver – Daniels College of Business, the University of Waikato in New Zealand, and the University of Colorado at Boulder. He conducted research, and designed and taught communication and leadership development courses.
Devon has a PhD in Organizational Communications from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a BA in Conflict Studies from Earlham College. When not working, Devon can be found traveling, or in the mountains with his family skiing, hiking, climbing and mountain biking. He lives in Boulder, Colorado.
